Getting Online Freebies

You might think it incredible but in this day and age of dog eat dog world you can actually receive something for nothing. Free product samples are consistently given away on a weekly basis. Businesses give away free samples in the hope that you try their goods and be impressed enough to begin making regular purchases. Freebies are a great way to try new release products and their usual small travel friendly size also make many free samples great for camping or long trips. This is especially true for beauty products and cosmetics. Nothing worse than going away on a trip and your perfume bottle or hair care bottle will not fit in the shower travel bag. These small samples of free stuff are very helpful. The cool thing about many of those free samples is that you can get them sent right to your home via mail and your searching is straight from the comfort and security of your home. Some of the fantastic products you can find free sample offers for include: breakfast cereals, granola bars, cookies, coffee, dental floss, deodorant, toothpaste, cosmetics, pet food and more. It is encouraged that you actually purchase the product after the trial sample has run out and not abuse the system and continually try to obtain freebies!

When searching for free stuff online, you might be required to complete some legitimate surveys or sign up to a newsletter in order to obtain that sample. Usually questions are kept short and newsletters can be unsubscribed to. I strongly recommend setting up a designated email account for your free samples. This will keep unwanted spam mail out of your primary email account and hopefully maintain your privacy and anonymity.

Much like every other market that exists, there are good free sample websites and there are some bad tomatoes as well. Quality freebie sites will post only the best valid sample offers. If you spend a bit of time browsing a trustworthy site you should find some great free samples. One site I suggest having a look at is FreeStuff4free.com which updates their easy to navigate website daily in order to bring the best and most up to date samples.

The cool thing is that free product samples aren’t just limited to up and coming products or brands trying to flog their name. Big corporations and well known brands also engage in this practice of offering freebies to continually entice consumers to their products. From Coca-Cola to Tide detergent to free Walmart prints to Olay product samples, these are some of the biggest global brands which regularly give away free samples. Before you start feeling sorry for these companies, by offering freebies it establishes the brand awareness amongst society and is actually more cost efficient than advertising on television. Research has demonstrated that the best form of advertising is always recommendation by friends. Therefore offering free stuff will allow for word of mouth recommendation. So take advantage of freebies today!

Using Coupons To Save

Saving Money. Being thrifty. Being Tight. Whatever you want to call it, the everyday US customer has to know it. The great economic boom in the early 2000s has given way to the worst financial crisis since the great depression. We Have seen the prices of houses drop dramatically and the record number of people declaring bankruptcy and defaulting over their mortgages. My belief is that if we knew how to treat money when times were good, then many would have been saved from a lot of heartache. The principle is similar to Joseph in the bible where he predicted 7 years of good times followed by 7 years of drought. He had the insight and advice to the Egyptian Pharaoh to ask him save during the good times so that there was enough during the tough times. It would appear that principles from over 3000 years ago would still apply now.

Unfortunately it would appear that many squandered their wealth and good times without any forward planning. And this lack of planning has cost many people their livelihoods. However I believe there is a swing back towards a more cautious lifestyle, obviously because it has been forced upon them. But I would also like to suggest there are ways to save money that can also be fun!

The greatest expense that occur in households outside the mortgage and rents is the grocery bill. Below are some tips on how to save at the grocery store.

Use Coupons: I cannot stress this enough. There has been an explosion in the popularity of using coupons where companies that are doing it tough and some not doing it tough are using coupons to attract new customers and service current consumers. Use the Net to do your search and come up with the best and use all available coupons. Sites like coupons.com or FreeStuff4Free.com will provide plenty of functional coupons that will save you lots of money. Many coupons are covered from a range of categories as well as a wide range of freebies.

Seek out supermarkets that will double or triple your coupons. In addition to the above point, this is where the power of couponing really shines. Combining a coupon with a sale when the store doubles or triples your coupon can bring you prices down to just pennies instead of dollars. In my area the stores that double, and sometimes triple coupons, are stores that I used to avoid because their overall prices seemed very high to me. I’m fortunate that they are close and compete with each other.

Avoid pre-packaged snacks. Individually-wrapped parcels of biscuits, chips, cheese products looks great and maybe convenient but you are ultimately paying for it with your hard earned cash. When you do some basic calculation the per-unit prices for these items is astronomical than if you purchased the products on their own and put it together yourself. Unless you’re getting the items as freebies, stay well clear of these goods.

And so whilst the world may be slowly recovering from this economic mess, you yourself can contribute positively by pulling yourself out of the hole and learning some principles to help restore confidence.
